The video for “on leaving” was mostly filmed around Tokyo, Kamakura and Hiroshima and tries to build on the ideas that emerged from the original cut-up songwriting exercise, connecting visual textures and liminal spaces into some approximation of a narrative.

Full version of the track that appeared on Daniel Stirrup’s “All in the same boat?” film last year, with kaleidoscopic jellyfish video for visual interest. The music is built around a field recording of a foghorn from the Golden Gate Bridge, and features a vocoded snippet of a group of individuals being unable to work a telephone.

The video for “long after everyone is dead” was mostly filmed in the abandoned military installations and redwood forests around San Francisco, but there are glimpses of London and Tokyo in there too. The idea was to show a post-human world after the inevitable point when the fish have come out of the sea and eaten everyone.
